At first glance, this looks beautiful. It reminds me of sleeping, sleepovers--anything to do with hugging my pillow through the night.

The simple shading fits with the theme; purple was a good choice to give it the night time feeling. The only suggestion I have with your shading is to perhaps make this cat's right arm completely shaded, as you did with its right hind leg. You want to keep your shading constant as to present your art in a better sense.

I love the slant of the eyes. It's adorable, and fits well with the bubbles. The wreath of the flowers may have been a bit much; you may want to consider toning down on the amount of flowers displayed on the wreath.

The design is adorable-- you really captured it well. The white spots on the light blue background are quite unsaturated-- a good color to fit the sleep theme. Again, you want to keep your art constant. On the sweater, the flowers bend slightly to show how the sweater bends around the cat's body. On the rest of the body, however, the dots hardly bend, and seem to avoid edge edge of this cat.

Overall, amazing art. Your choice of colors and emotions, as well as the pose, fit well with the theme of sleep. This cat looks quite approachable, and ready for bed.

Okay, first of all, the lines are sort of sketchy, but that gives it a more rough, and "alive" feel . The shading is simple - but not too dark so that it would contrast too much towards the light colours of this character.

The line colour is a dark purple - this fits extremely well with the whole piece and colour palette, and it definitely helps to soften that look, if you were to give it harsh, black lines.

The body type is very small, and "chubby" looking - if you get what I mean - and this definitely helps to portray a sleepy, and cute feel to this piece. The flowers are well positioned - they are sitting right ontop of the head, and they aren't too bright to distract from the piece.

Right away, the eyes on this character grab my attention, because of the dark, but then again, not too dark contrast. The way the eye's are drawn definitely make it look sleepy - and the bubbles (?) are a cute touch.

The pose and posture of the character are definitely leaning towards that "sleepy" feel - but the paw pads feel, "empty" as they are only given a light blue colour. perhaps a light, pastel purple colour would fit well there. the hind leg needs to come lower down - it looks almost as if it is floating, as you can see the comparison between the front leg and front hind leg seem to be off.

a good technique to use would be to draw a straight line, and position the legs ontop of that line- so that it doesn't "float".

The left ear looks too thin - perhaps it looks that way because of the awkward angle. The sweater band on the stomach area looks, flat , and it should stick out more, also, the sweater is sort of 'trapping the fur' , so around the stomach and neck areas, the fur should be really fluffy - and sort of poof out .

The bubbles should be sort of transparent - but then again that is of course a stylistic choice.
