So greatful for all the moving and beautiful art like this. Another level of appreciation of Tolkienβs layered brilliance. This site has given me more insight than multiple readings of the book managed to do. I guess I needed the visuals to get there. Loved the movies but he second age will have a big advantage for the second age and Silmarillion projects when they come. Anyone with sense would grab these ideas and use. Hope you all get royalties.,!

Maybe you've heard this before but I applaud that you even made an effort to to try and put this mysterious and incomprehensibly beautiful scene of Tolkien. Β I imagine that it wasn't easy to capture just as it probably wasn't easy for Tolkien to describe. I mean how do you really capture the splendor of creation and music in human terms? But I'd say you made a valiant and fantastic effort especially with all the wistful and vibrant colors. Also I adore the depiction of the Valor even though you didn't include all of them. And I instantly recognized Melkor, the Music Marrer, with his trouble- making energy.
I'm moved that someone like you took the time to give attention to such a brilliant scene that not a lot of people in the fandom seem to care about in the world of fanart. Thank you for this.Β Β

Thank you! The scene really deserves more attention, like many, many events from the Tolkien world. I might not ever come back to it since I have about 300 more images in the cue. So many magical scenes to depict! Thanks again for your feedback.

For me this is one of the most important scenes because it sets up the entire world. That and the Battle of the End even though the actual prophecy of it was cut.Β
And you're definitely right there are so many magical sequences to try and relate (Gondolin, Luthien and Beren ect) but I am very happy you chose this one among them. I don't know if you take requests but I would really love to see your depiction of the Battle of the End when Morgoth returns.Β

Amazing! I recognised everyone except Melkor - he's not someone I would have associated with fire.

I like how we can see the "subcreations" of the various Valar.

How did you make this?

It's traditional acrylic. Took some pictures of my son-in-law and daughter and used some space nebulae as background. Let me know if you have more questions. More than happy to share my technique. Thanks for your comment.

Yeah, I am trying to improve at graphic designs and digital art, I was wondering what are some concepts I should be familiar with to improve in my designs, I am using Photoshop
