A lone wolf crosses his path. Not a clever one, it seems... The lynx is snickering behind him - finally, the wolves of this forest learn their lesson!Lion character again! Also a new character, they're a silver-colored lynx. The lion has come from far far away and is searching for others with powers (who knows why). The lynx has ice powers and travels with the lion and is some kind of a guide to him. The wolves have ruled the forests for so long... They want to change that.
This was fun to do! I tried some new things.
The story behind these characters keep developing, yayy. I already have two characters more which I should draw at some point. And name these two... The lynx could be Kuuras, maybe.
The creatures of this world, where these characters live in, can have certain magic powers. Maybe "Mother Nature" or something gives them to them.

Oh and to add I just wanted to suggest a small fox or cat species that can quickly grow plants to protect it's self like using big damp leaves against the lion's fire.

Oh, I love the story behind this scene! Pictures including your Lion are extraordinarily dark and a little bit violent I'd say... he looks like he's able to break anyones neck in a second.
But hey, it is a fascinating predator. The white lynx is an interesting character, too, I'm very curious about how do these two act around themselves. They don't seem to have a similar personality, but I might be wrong.

I don't even have words for this. There's so much detail here, everything seems so perfect.. I love the emotion of the lion and the lynx despite their expressions still appearing very natural. I also really love the little backstory for this, too. Amazing work as always~

I love the cold forest atmosphere and the imposing lion standing there. The lion, though normally would be out of place, actually seems to be in his element here. I like the bits of story with it too, makes me interested to learn more!
