another mouse painted piece. and another one for the 100 themes.this piece was inspired by a...real life event.
i was traveling home on the bus after work one night about 2 weeks ago, and i looked out of the window up at the full moon and at that precise moment there was a cloud passing below the moon that looked exactly like a pare of hands cradling it, it even had the thumb shapes. it was amazing. and after a second i realized that i could never hope to see this sight again in a million years, and decided then that i would draw this picture in memory of it.
kinda corny, but what the hell. XP
i think i'm going to go back to my greylead linearts now. i think doing these completely mouse works is altering my usual style. i like my greylead style. ;__;

If you want to re-display the actual image to accompany a poem, then I'll require that "Artwork by kinky-chichi.deviantart.com" be displayed below the image. But if you just want to use the image as inspiration to write a poem then by all means, go head. C: I'm glad than you like it.

Lol. I realised you probably hadn't, after I posted. The author of the book added me on myspace. That's how I knew about it, and I think the book is easiest to get in the US. *headdesk* The coverart reminded me of this picture though. ^^

.....whoa.......its just those moments youd give anything for a camera......ive had those moments thousands of times, specialy sunrises, one time i saw the sun go right behind a thick cloud and it made a perfect red gold lining behind the cloud....i know it would never happen again but it was wonderful, and that drawing, i dont really know how to discribe it, the woman just spells "Goddess" and i didnt even have to see ther mooon in the background to think it, wonderful work

LUCKY! You are so lucky to see that sight! I hardly ever see things like that...the prettiest thing I've ever seen was a waterfall inside of a cave in kentucky, I think that was the state anyway.

I'm of the opinion that this piece really is the your best piece to date. The lighting on her fingertips is stunning- the flow of her hair and the texture of her skin... to top it all off that this is done with a mouse.. so no pressure-based colours and shading?!
