Description
Orcrist was an Elven sword from Gondolin, the mate of Glamdring, which became the sword of Thorin II Oakenshield during The Quest of Erebor. It was feared and called Biter by the Goblins.
Used: watercolors, golden acrylic, golden metal leaf, white gel pen, black ink

It's interesting to see how many weapons in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings universe are influenced by ancient world, especially Greece. I'm not entirely convinced these weapons would be of too great use in Medieval environment, but it's Fantasy

Ну, мечи-кладенцы хороши причем оба и Оркрист и Гламдринг прям класс, вообще можно целую книжку сделать с оружием или украшениями, а может и геральдикой, вообще благодатная тема, а в твоем восхитительном исполнении уж тем более.

Anyhow, I just realize that Orcrist is a Clip-point blade, not a spear-point blade .... silly me ha ha ha ha ha

Absolutely beautiful!!!^^ Something I love about the character (reflected in the first movie of the Hobbit Trilogy) of Thorin is that, despite he hates the Elves with all his heart, he kept the sword and use it. As always, an amazing work!!!!

Awesome, really love your technique! I would like to try all those materials but unfortunately its very hard to find all those materials in mine country .. only can find watercolors and black ink.. all this other stuff so unknown for me
