Aaaaah I'm probably far beyond the point where I can tell what's right and what's wrong with this one so I'll just post it and move on something else :l Another piece from the set from last semester, though I kept working on it a bit after turning it in because I was so dissatisfied with it (and everything else to be honest). Featuring Ishke (again) and me not trying to detail every part of the picture to death! Which I'm really bad at. I like detailing. To death.It originally had much darker and less colorful color scheme with the thing hiding in the dark too until I started playing with layer effects and was told by basically everyone to go with the crazy inversed colorful version, but I'm still debating whether or not I should make the other version too aaaand I should probably stop rambling and just post it wtf >:

Ahahahaha, I get way too easily frustrated with overworking pictures/color overlays so I usually give up and quiet, this turned out looking great though, so I hope you feel somewhat satisfied with it??? (Maybe give it a few days? hahaha!)

Thanks! It's been months already actually, I kinda gave up with trusting myself and just put it up xD Starting something new would probably work better than trying to figure out mistakes in this forever, especially when no one else sees them hahah.

I do haha but I think I did a terrible job that last semester to be honest... I should probably just stop worrying about it and keep doing more things because that's how improving works. It's kinda motivating in a really weird way.

Art is subjective yes. But I have had family in the art world, very successful family, the stupidly abstract art that becomes headline acts, there is a very weird an warped world and it doesn't matter as much about the work of the art, it is about who you know and if your the right type of person. There is all sorts of things out there like the varies mobs using art to clean money all sorts of wonderful wacky adventures. Then there is the commercial art world, the world where Wizards of the Coast employ you, the world where your employed for concept art and such. They care about the quality of your work, and trust me, your artwork wouldn't look out of place on a Magic the Gathering card. That is where you want to be going. Keep it up you will make it through.
