Hi! I'm from ProjectComment .
It's been a while since I wrote a critique but here goes nothing.

I like the shading a texturing that your pieces have, as well as the color scheme. But as you said in your description, the pose seems odd. Flipping the canvas in the art program will help you see the disproportions on the drawing. Try to make canvas flipping a habit, you can make a shortcut or use the preset shortcut, I've seen some people do this and they use it throughout the entirety that they are drawing the photo. If it doesn't look right flipped, then there is something off about the proportions or general anatomy. Two things that are hard to master for any artist, even me.

The line art is clean and precise, but have you tried coloring the line art? I haven't used Photoshop or Paint Tool Sai, but I believe that I know enough about the programs' features that I can help: there are two ways to color line art, one is to create another layer and select clipping in the layer settings, then on that clipping layer, color the line art with a color you think complements the piece. Another way is to go on the line art layer and select protect alpha (I don't know what it's called in Sai or Photoshop) and draw on the layer with the color. The only problem with the second tactic is if you go to erase, you'll delete the line art because it's still the same layer as the colored line art.

If poses are still a bit of a struggle, try doing what I like to call an observance test. Find a picture and look at it closely while drawing it in the art program. No, this isn't tracing, it's more of a form of copying than anything. What you are doing by doing this is training your eye to see details that you might not have seen before. If you do decide to post the observance test, it's best that you put it in the scraps folder and write the name of the original creator of the image just so you don't get called out for something that was meant to teach you.

Another suggestion (this one is extremely controversial but it's still learning) is to trace an image. Pay extra attention to how many bumps and dips a person's hand has at a certain angle and then try redrawing it without tracing. This works on memory and anatomy and can help with things like perspective. The only reason I say that this is controversial is from the reputation of tracing. Tracing tends to be viewed as the artist being lazy and unoriginal, the only time that this statement is true is if the person doesn't move out of the tracing phase. If you do decide to try out tracing, only post it in scraps with the original creator's credit, just like the observance test. Never claim a traced or carefully copied image as your own (Even though I am certain that you know this).

If the last two ideas don't sound appealing, then you can always use more reference photos. Take your time viewing photos as you draw, look for things you normally wouldn't look for like the shape of a person's nose from a side profile view and so on.

I hope this critique helped, I know a lot of it was just techniques to use, but it helps to have more tools in the toolkit.

ahh thank you so much for the critique!
I'll have to practice with flipping the image more often though
I have coloured my line art before since I use FireAlpaca and can use clipping layers haha!
and yeah, I have traced over things before, but I never post it and I look at details in photos a lot, I need to do more reference studies.
I mainly will sketch out things like my dogs, which helps with drawing dogs, but human anatomy is much different.
thank you for the tips!! I'll definitely try these out
(sorry if my response is a mess, I just woke up a little while ago and I doubt my brain is fully functioning yet)

Not a prob! And I've also used FireAlpaca before but now I use MediBang (just because things feel smoother to me). And I hope to see you improve in the future.

Aaah, posing is hard, I relate.

This looks good ^^ The shading done with the lines is a bit inconsistent (as in there are some places where it could/should be but it isn't).
