Kion crept back out. He began to bat at one of the gourds, no longer interested in Rafiki, Kopa, or Vitani. As he dipped his paws into the paint, he giggled quietly.

As Rafiki began to paint the white dots under one of Vitani’s eyes, a loud CRASH startled them. When the three turned around, they saw Rafiki's staff on the floor and a sheepish Kion looking at them. Multi-colored paint splatters covered him and the surrounding area.

"Well...looks like the pipsqueak snuck away again," Vitani laughed as Kopa closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

Kion is much younger than Kopa & Kiara in my AU (14 years younger if in human years, so he would be 11 years of age here). He was a surprise kid for Simba & Nala and is their mischievous baby brother, who gets into all sorts of mischief 🥲 Here he is in a bit of a pickle after ending up covered in Rafiki’s paint on the day of his big bro’s wedding.

Turns out the only paint he hasn’t got his paws on his the white paint as Rafiki is using that on Vitani.

Kiara was supposed to be watching him, but… looks like the little pipsqueak snuck away again, in Vi’s words 😂

Can’t take the little terror anywhere, huh? 🥲

Also, I changed Kion’s design a little again by giving him lighter ear markings in particular.
