Another concept for an Exobiology compilation project with .Β Here we have a fairly large, about 5.5 meter (18 ft) ambush predator.ΒRelated content

The main sensory package is located on the "stalk" on the top front of the body.Β The two antennaeΒ at the front are used for smell and the back antennae are used for hearing.Β The whole package is ringed with "eyespots", that detect both light and act somewhat like a fish's lateral lines.Β
The jaws are very powerful, able to crush and disembowel prey.Β Below the jaws are two additional smell/taste receptors.Β It excretes through a retractable tube inside of the jaws, which closes very tightly so as not to ingest excrement while the tube is retracted.Β
It's nostrils are located on the hump behind the sensory package.
There is a reproductive slit on the dorsal side of the tail's base.Β This species has separate sexes, and the male's long penis is located in the slit.Β
This animal is, as I mentioned, an ambush predator, hiding in foliage and attacking prey in short bursts of speed, using its tail for balance.Β Its "hooves" are like cleats, giving the creature extra grip when running or walking.Β Most "vertebrate" species on Nirvana have two digits, as seen in this creature.Β The backwards pointing digit is highly mobile, able to swing forward and down to disembowel prey.

Okay well i have a idea of two for a critter, i had an idea that the biggest predators would have small critters follow them and feed of left over kills
