Actually, I have low resolution and I zoomed out again. I've decided that the three shades works out well because it looks like it's fading.

I think you should sharpen the center pair a little, , you can still maintain that contrast you have with them and the outside, but I think maybe it would work.
I really like the splattering and the hearts - it suits the concept. I'm not sure if you should've stuck with just two shades of pink, but I think you just manage to get away with that one but perhaps the third colour should not have been a shade of pink at all.
Thick border works well as it makes it seem more like a photograph or something. Yeah, I like that.
Overlall, it did catch my eye and I like it a lot. I like the lyrics you posted in too.
