By mediocre demand- introducing, the facial proportions tutorial!

May I just remind you right now that this, nor any tutorial you will EVER come across, is the "right" way to do this. To become a "good" (and by good I mean satisfied with your own work) artist, I would recommend developing your own style by playing around and just having fun. Keep the serious shit to art class! Drawing should be fun, not another source for stress (:

Here is *makani 's face tutorial , which I highly recommend - she was my drawing idol as a kid, and I took a lot of elements from her drawing style. Besides from that, she is a total professional and probably will explain things a lot better.

As you can see from my choice in websites, I was a bit of a... pottertard when I was ten or eleven.

ANYWAY. Another word of advice- stay away from gray while you're sketching. Maybe it's a psychological thing for me, but I feel a lot better when I'm sketching in red or turquoise.
