This is a picture request for *belosnezhka . The character's name is Vladislav Sobolevsky, and he's a first year at Durmstrang. ( For those few of you who are not familiar with that, it is the name of the Russian school where Viktor Krum studied in Goblet of Fire. )The model is actor, Logan Lerman [Butterfly Affect, and The Painted House]

This was done in Adobe Photoshop Elements as always and took about 3 hours.
Hopefully Bel likes it.
Edit: Fixed a bit of the shading around the neck area and sharpened and defined the eye on the right as it seemed to be a little indistinct to me.

I am writting a fanfic about a boy attending Durmstrang in 1993. His name is Wolfgang Fennbewohner, and he was born at Eastern Germany, from a family who hated the Dark Arts, his grandfather having the fame of fighting Grindelwald, and dying in the fight. Before the start of his first year at Durmstrang, he is attacked by a werewolf, and becomes a werewolf himself. In the Durmstrang ship, he meets Vladislav Ivonovitch Michaelov, a Russian boy who admired Grindelwald; Wilhermina Dracul, a Romanian part-vampire, who is the daughter of a friend of Wolfgang's farther; and latter he meets Alexei AndrΓ©sen, a Norweigian boy who fancies dragons. Wolfgang, Mina and Alexei latter form a trio, whose worst enemy is Vladislav (much like Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black and James Potter became the Marauders, and had in Snape their worst enemy). The hgh point of the story is the Halloween Night of October 31, 1997, when hundreds of thousands of Dementors invade Durmstrang castle. During the battle to ward off the Dementors, Mina is attacked by seven of them, and then is saved by Wolfgang's wolf-like Patronus. In return, she embraces him and kisses him in the mouth.

Sorry for the late response. Talking about my fanfiction, three of the four main characters are based off real people.
Vladislav is based off a friend of mine, also my classmate in the History course. He, like Vladislav, is a controversial appreciator of everything related to the Nazi and Soviets.
Wolfgang is based off me. I always fancied wolves, but now, in an inner animal sense. And I placed this character's birth in Germany due to the subject of my monography: German unification of 1871.
As for Alexei, he is based off a cousin of mine, which also fancies dragons. An I put him in Norway due to the legends related to Fafner, the dragon from the Ring Cycle.

Aww! He's precious. I really like it. Searched for Durmstrang, interested in it because of a fantastic fic about a muggle-born boy attending Durmstrang in 1939. The little boy in the story, having grown up in Nazi Germany, has some awful awful prejudices, so its so interesting to see him thrown into a world where not only do those prejudices not exist, but there are prejudices against him. On one hand I can't stand the boy, but on the other I can't help but be fond of him. Really fantastic. If it weren't already established that Dieter was the perfect little "Aryan" I might have to incorporate this into my image of him.

That really is an interesting concept for a fanfic. It's sorta deep actually what with the social metaphors and so on. Cool.

Hehe. Some of the most inspired artistic achievements are mistakes/unconscious/laziness... XD He's so cute and tiny. He'll probably grow up to be a big boy, though-- his daddy was quite a virile young man.

You know what I like the most about this one? The transition from the light inside to the light outside. He looks like he's really in there. Also, the hair looks very natural. I thin the base of the neck would have needed a little sharp shadow (projected by the fur lining) because of the dim lighting, but it looks great anyways.
