THIS TOOK FOREVER BUT HUZZAH. I’m planning on drawing mermaids this week and this is an amazing time to start off! Peony is inspired by the Panda Black Moor Goldfish. When looking up goldfish, I noticed the wild type are much bigger so she’s thick but I love her that way! (Plus, I’m learning to draw more body types than skinny) Her name is Chinese for ‘flower’ and was the name of a character from the book series The Lunar Chronicles.
