Description Taken on a bright, sunny day at Minter Gardens in Bridal Falls, BC. Since the sun was so bright I used a polarising filter and a ND grad filter to darken the scene enough to capture the soft water look.
Tripod and cable release used.
Fuji Superia 200
f 22
19-35mm lens
6 sec exposure

Then used photoshop to add the softness. Again, I could stick to the normal photograph, but I wanted to play. If you want to see what an original looks like check out [link] . It was taken moments before this shot.
Thanks for the honest critiques!

Another beautiful picture that almost seems magical. The left side is a little dark but I kinda like it. You have a lot of talent!

I love the soft feel in this one. I must say that I would crop it a bit differently myself... I would take in the whole fall (you have left out some of the lower one) and leave more out from left (does that make sense... ). Now I get a claustrophobic feeling when watching this. The surroundings of the water look a little too dark to my liking.
The water looks great, though

Great picture. I think you were right to 'adjust' it in photoshop. It just takes out any harsh edges, and makes it much more um...dream-like? Fantastic. A definate favourite.

This is a great pic. I don't mind you playing with the image a bit when you get results like. The softness is almost touchable.

Thanks! Sometimes I tend to go overboard with softness, but this one did turn out well. (except for the extremely dark left side of the water!!)

You're welcome. And I almost commented on that dark left side, but I thought it kinda helped keep focus on the softness of the water, and since this was as much about the effect as it was about the photo, I didn't say anything.
