When I saw the form I knew you must have seen the humpbacked horse. The art from that is amazing, few rival it in my opinion.

I'm not sure but is that based on one of the horses from konyok gorbunok?

Hah! When I was a kid I watched Konyok gorbunok or as I knew it the Humpbacked pony constantly and its still one of my favorite animated movies ever. (The english dub is pretty awful tho)

Its not directly based on any of the horses really but I am always thinking about them, they really influence me without me even realizing it.

I'm tickled someone else remembers that movie!

It is one of my favourite movies too!
I wish I could get it, the spanish version is not bad at all, it actually sounds pretty.

Yeah I'm always thinking about them too, I don't know the style they use on that movie for those horses is wonderful. xD

I have an ancient vhs copy and I think they re-released it on DVD but I'm not sure...its considered like a classic Russian film.

The style is kinda based on Russian folk art..especially the kind you find painted on black lacquer boxes like this one.

Yeah I've seen it on DVD, sometimes xD
Just not in my city, I'd have to order it on internet.

Oh I was saying the style they used on the magic horses in the movie was different than the other normal horses that appeared there, I mean I like the way they made them different. xD

Beautiful! I used to have a Russian storybook full of pictures of black and red horses (which were my favorite parts) I always griped that the story never told their names.
