this is it folks... i changed a few thing (very minor) and added a few things to fix the hair up a bit... thats it... i was planning on re-doing the hair... but i dont know if i will have time. oooh, and i added a cool little moon too!i will be deleting or scrapping all past versions of this so if u had them faved please fav this one instead!

fist of the blue sky is the prequel. its created and drawn by the same people... i was an assistant illustrator on blue sky and some of the special editions of north star.

haha,, yeah kenshiro has started to look a bit like stallone in recent years... he started out as a mixture of mad max and bruce lee... then progressed to look like an asian rocky. haha.

Lookin that you are able to paint kenshiro and the others, you can make real a dream that i had some time ago: Kenshiro at the disco with Yuria , Shin at the station waiting for train, and Raoh & Toki as bodyguards! ^_^

Hmmm - Even though the animation for Hokuto no Ken is good. I still prefer Souten no Ken.

have you seen the new souten no ken anime? it just started here recently.
the only problem i have with the later hokuto no ken characters and the souten no ken characters is that their bodies look like globs of muscle and they all have the same faces...
in the first few hokuto no ken, kenshiro was actually based of of mad max/mel gibson and bruce lee... i thought he look cool. then later he got an ugly hair cut (haha) .... souten no ken has a much more down to earth story though... not quit as far fetched as hokuto no ken... i guess it depends on what you are into.
anyhoo, i worked on Souten no Ken graphic novels 13, 14, and 15... a little over a years worth... that may have caused me to be slightly bitter about the books.. especially since i never went home or slept when i was working there.
anyhoo, i like both stories... the souten no ken anime looks really rad, im watching it every week.

you think so? i prefer the early Hokuto No Ken version... but Hara Sensei realy loves the way that he draws Kenshiro now... i try to put a bit of old-school flavor into my versions for the comic.

well... the main staff is made up of Hara Tetsuo.. his main assistant Watanabe ... and 5 others (which include me).. there are also a few members of our staff that work in Okinawa.. they only do color for Hokuto no Ken Master Edition.. and sometime Soten no Ken's cover pages..

So ten no ken is a special edition from Bunch comics right? I read just until the second issue, and Hokuto no ken are you making a new comic or just special books of illustrations?

i work for Soten no Ken... and HOkuto no Ken in tokyo... im making the ACTUAL REAL books... i work for the Bunch manga magazine studio... and Tetsuo Hara is my boss. I do all of the CG special effects and a bit of the color for Soten no Ken...and i help to special color version for HOkuto no Ken, including cardgames, merch... and the cell-phone version.
