Description
I meant to remake this back in October for the Halloween season but i simply did not get the chance to finish it.I decided ti remake this massive creation since my opder image seemed outdated for my current style.It really bothered me that the proportions were all wrong along with the poor image quality.
Anyway this wendigo is of my personal design that i came up with while drawing in one of my high school classes quite a bit ago.I had made up a story of where this particular wendigo was spawed from: a king who fell victim to ignorance and passed through a forest that was cursed by a witch of a native American tribe that once resided there.Of course him mistake changed him into wendigo of massive size and he was forced to undergo a mind of an animal with neverending hunger.He soon killed his wife and three children of which still hold their place on his antlers.As the madness grew within the wendigo's mind the kingdom he once ruled fell into ruin.
In my older description the wendigo stands 18ft in height and has antlers that can change their shape at will.The whole midsection has been split open and hardly any of the ventral skin remains.Instead it is empty all except for it's ribcage which acts as limb to draw victim s into is central cavity for containment.In my other version i had drawn fire that follows it's steps wherever it makes them.I had forgotten to draw them here but decided to just include the flames in the description rather than the picture.The flames are not that of the usual hot coal rather they are a fire that does not harm flesh when touched.Rather it is the wendigo's choice for who it harms and those who it seek to hurt the wendigo are the onlt ones who may be harmed with the magical flames.Those who are being hunted are not hurt by these but are actually more of a tracking checkpoint for the wendigo to aid in the hunt.
