I hate the fact that they had to have Hugo get axed off. He was the perfect love interest for Alita. I heard there was also Figure Four, but I'm not sure what impression he brings in. Spoil me, guys. What kind of impression he brings in to Alita?

Figure becomes a much greater love interest than Yugo could ever be
as Yugo was a "kid" at that moment, so was Gally
now that she is all grown up, Figure is the type of man she would totally fall in love with
Figure is not the weak kid Yugo was
as he is more than able to go close combat with any cyber (considering the fact that Figure is fully human, no cyber parts, that should speak for his strength and skills)
has very strong moral codes and appears in Gally's life when she considers herself to be nothing more than a puppet.
wont say more, Figure will remain a strong moral/love interest in her future during all the story up to "last orders"

I even had this notion that Ido had preserved Hugo’s testes for this purpose, meaning to tell her someday but now it’s just forgotten cryogenic spare parts in the back of his laboratory, but maybe she might stumble on them in an instance of kind providence someday on a future visit. I’m sure that bastard Nova has her DNA in his karmatronic research files, she just has to then beat it out of him to give her a full copy (now that she’s made her “donation” to Malkizedek. Otherwise she could have gotten some stem cells from her pituitary). He might even do it willingly to see what karmatron potential such a child might have. I can dream.
