I'd say it depends the size of your canva. With the size I used for my comic Wings of Liberty it was 1-3 -- LOL yeah well I tend to change the size of my pen a lot depending on the background or details C: But 2 is generally what I work with I guess--- but as I said it depends the size of the canva~

LOL Well you totally deserve it QwQ I hope I can learn awesome digital stuff like you. You're pictures are so nice. I'm trying to improve so I'm trying to ask the basics OTL I'm using like size 4 and size 1~2 for details, maybe i should put it down a bit. I find my lines look kinda weird @_@
and LOL I got a long time to go before I'm good like you >w< I am okay but I just started like 2 weeks ago I got a tablet ._. I'm okay but I just bucket fill, shadow and blend all my colors so it doesn't look professional like your pieces. I'm trying to work on making beautiful hair like your linkxpit picture but I always give up and then just blur it all OTL I'm an okay artist cuz I've done traditional for a while, but I've come to realize that using tradional art tricks on digital just doesn't work o3o;; so it's like learning art all over again lulz.

Awe thank you QwQ I see a lot of people who start and ya know... just base colors and stuff...
But like I said, I had a lot of previous artwork that I did traditionally xD So my lineart is okay, just my coloring. Digital coloring is a whole new world.
That and my hand is kinda shakey still on the tablet with my lineart!!

You use Sai right? Well do you know the stabilizer? You can change a number at the upper right. The lower you put it, the faster it follows your pen which leads to show more shaky lines. The higher the number is, the slower the line follows the pen so it looks softer when you move around.

I say you should try it by yourself and see what you're comfortable with c: because I know nunch of people that use it but not at the same number. I always change de number of it depending on what I draw, so you really should practise with it and see what it does

ah its very pretty. I love the sketchyness to it ^^ and his expression is very sweet. Its strange I know he's sleeping but there is just this gentle sense of emotion to the image. Its pleasant to look at.

Yes yes the sketchyness was on purpose, wanted to try another kind of drawing. And I attempted to make a pleasant ambiance with the colors trying to make a warm morning light laying on him
