Koharu is an indifferent hedonist who would rather spend his time living selfishly than contributing for the greater good. As a sly tramp, he isnt above outwitting suckers just to scrape by: women, businesses, you name it! he puts on the charms to get whatever he wants, and then bails as soon as it gets too troublesome than it's worth. But underneath this sleazy exterior is a heart of bronze! He is quite the good estranged uncle figure, with the patience of a saint (after all, some of these scams could take years to cash in on). And brave too! In fact you could say the only thing he's scared of is an empty wallet. In a quaint town, who knows? Maybe he could find a way to show off some prettier colors or learn to be the kind of person his dad would admire.
History:

Koharu comes from a land far east and grew up in poverty, surviving off of stolen scraps and a bad attitude! He lived in a corrupted foster home until a kind monk adopted him, then they lived in the local monastery together. He was bored at school and began causing trouble so his father decided to enroll him in a dojo school instead where he could be active instead of sitting at a desk all day. Koharu loved that he could smack people around with his wooden sword, it definitely beat the books. He finally felt like he could take control of some aspect of his life this way. Eventually he straightened out and got serious about his swordsmanship! His father homeschooled him on other subjects which was much more tolerable than going to school.
Still an adolescent, his father had become old and frail but still he tried to preserve his values, despite the tension rising around them that had otherwise torn apart the traditions of the country. When the conflict died down a few years later, Koharu had become a tired soul. Everything that he knew from the past didn’t matter anymore! His father and his teachings were gone as well as the land he once knew. Swordsmanship was no longer needed or appreciated. Koharu felt betrayed by his sword; in the end he couldn't protect what was important after so many years of training. He gave up his sword and swore to never use it again. For a while, he was a wanderer, trying to find him place in life but to no avail. With that, Koharu questioned himself, he pondered that everything his father taught, maybe it really was made of lies. The way his father lived his life couldn’t protect him and so Koharu thought it would be good if he could start anew, a place where nobody knew who he was and there it was, a dusty flyer fell at his feet. “Toffee town…” He read the flyer over and over again as he boarded the Panna Cotta.
