He has a strong and protective instinct over those he had grown close to. He can be protective over others, but it's more strongly seen in those he's developed bonds with. He feels and shows a deep sense of disappointment in himself if he fails in his protection.
He can be restrained when the time calls for it or if he would rather not escalate things. But he also restrains his own emotions and feelings, taking a step back for others to avoid any trouble. However, he can easily harbour resentment for those who do him wrong or he doesn't like and he's not afraid to show it. His hostility may show here too, especially if he is pushed.
He comes and goes as he wishes and as of late isn't afraid to do things his way. He's independent, used to taking care of himself and not relying on the help and kindness of others. He doesn't wait it out or seek it, never easily trusting others. However, once he does have trust in someone, they usually gain his loyalty.
He's rough around the edges - not always polite and may seem uneducated compared to some other people and the customs/teachings of their worlds.
He's a front runner, not someone who hides behind others. Not a leader but he's not much of a follower either.
He's playful to those he feels comfortable with or has befriended. He can be snarky or sarcastic with this but it's all in good humour.
When he struggles with coping with things or his emotions, he tends to become withdrawn and may even isolate himself.
He doesn't quite meet a serious nature yet not an entirely playful one either. He's a balance between - coming across laid back and cool; calm, composed and informal.

TRIVIA:
He can summon and dismiss his wings so isn't stuck walking around with two pairs of them and can appear as a normal human. However his wings are a comfort and so he often has them (or at least his main pair out). His silk cloak disappears if any of his wings are out (an aether item that makes the summoning/transforming less taxing on his internal aether reserve).
He's actually quite small for his kind and not as muscular as most Sentinels. S'azed relies completely on his magic and no weaponry, not really needing to use such tools before in a world where the skies belonged to his kind and fighting other magical users was rare.
He's quite noble natured. Thunderbirds are wild but majestic beasts who are very proud of what they are and what they do. They take care of themselves.
Since being in Yggdrasil's realm he's been more withdrawn with people yet willing to explore to try and make sense of and mark out what surrounds him. He has been living it rough on the floating islands he's upon (unlike in his home world where his kind had built upon them).
[ BACKSTORY ]
Thunderbirds - mysterious and ginormous birds that are said to be protectors and enforcers of morality. In bird form, they own the skies with two sets of wings that some stories say create thunder with a single flap and conjure lightning with a blink of their eyes. Upon land, they could walk among humans as one by tipping their beaks up and shedding their wings back into a cloak.
S'azed belong to a flock that made their home upon the Zephys Summit, a series of floating rocky islands which are rich in flora, bird life and insects. The stone of the floating islands of his original realm are reactive to lightning, bouncing it off across one another in booms and smoking, thus creating a storm somewhat. Raised there all his life, most of his interactions occurred with his own kind but when he came of age and entered his teenage years, he was permitted to venture down to the human realms where he could experience life there blended in.
S'azed showed great promise in his magic and attuned to the skies and storms as naturally as one breathed air. He was assigned to join the Sentinels, Thunderbirds taking up the mantle of guardians over the human realms that resided below their haven. S'azed completed his training and joined their ranks, leaving home for the first time to travel out claim his own territory upon rogue floating islands above a human tribe that were taken in under his protection from not only those within their own ranks and outsiders, but from the Great Horned Serpent too - a might beast of the underworld that resided with it's minions in the ocean. Long time enemies of the Thunderbirds.
The humans within S'azed territory often met him face to face in his human form though knew him as nothing more than a nomad. A traveler who traded stories and rare plants for meals and shelter. Few met him directly in his Thunderbird form and even less lived to tell the tale. Though there were tales of sightings of him, especially welcoming in storms and playing with bolts of lighting...
Either shielding the people from the downpours and torrential winds or bringing such endeavors to the people as judgement depending on their actions.
There was truth to both parts of the stories. S'azed was their beloved protector but also a punisher of those who broke moral laws. His human visits also masked messenger duties at times where he would pass along predictions and warnings to tribal elders.
S'azed was indifferent towards the humans emotionally but he felt a strong sense of duty towards them. There were few he got attached to in his early years of residing among them however time took it's toll, human ways and illnesses came along and S'azed decided it was better to keep his distance emotionally.
Every solstice he would fly back to the Zephys Summit to conjugate with the other Thunderbirds of the floating islands.
It was during one of these journeys that S'azed was stolen from his world. His aether suddenly pulled, leeched upon until he was torn from consciousness and left plummeting between floating rocks... falling into a void that would keep him from returning to the Summit for good.
He awoke, crashed upon some of the hovering islands but hanging low through the clouds, enough to see a world below he did not recognize. S'azed took some time to recover from his fall but once he had, he explored and soon realized he was far from home.
Before S'azed came across the City, he kept the floating islands as his home, dubbed the Tempest Isles due to the heavy amount of 'storms' surrounding them when they had first appeared in Yggdrasil's realm - the result of S'azed frustration and sense of loss.

MAGIC CLASS: Black Magic

ABILITIES:
[ Reprisal Aura ] - A thin layer of aether covers him and he becomes charged. On contact, the one touching would receive an electric shock. Random and flickering small streaks of thin lightning across his form indicate that this ability is active.
[ Immolate ] - Conjures up bolts of blue lighting to shoot towards his target. They come from his form. The further away the target is, the weaker the shock would be. Up close, they can be strong depending on the voltage he's putting out.
[ Static Rain ] - Conjures up a collection of blue sparks that he scatters across the field with his wings. They hang in the air for a period of time and upon contact they give strong static shocks. It's more of an AoE ability for mob control and slowing/disrupting his opponent.
[ Ecstasy ] - Taps into his aether reserve and siphons from it, temporarily enhancing him. In this form, he is incredibly fast and agile, and like his reprisal aura is coated in static energy. Get too close and these streaks may nick you (or if wearing metal, will be drawn towards it). His appearance alters somewhat in this form due to the aether usage and covering him. That much energy sets off his adrenaline and makes him power hungry - he's more aggressive and assertive under this ability. This ability vastly drains his aether and will take a toll on his body the longer he is in it for.
[ Thunderbird Form ] - Takes on the form of a giant four winged bird. (size example )

Because of the 4 wings he makes me thing of a species I have, theyre note lined the same way but it reminded me of them.

Thunderbirds are a Native American mythological creature. That's where Harry Potter got them from too! But the one in Fantastic Beasts did make me fall in love with them and inspired me to make an OC of one.
