Description Proving how nooby I am at spriting.

So I decided I wanted to try a female-based sprite, and I picked Ciel. I was making some custom poses for her and randomly decided, how would Ciel look if she were older?

EDIT 4?: I got bored. Also been playing Final Fantasy so here's a sort of 'fantasy' outfit for Ciel? Don't ask. Her pose also made me throw a fit.

I think I'm done attempting to sprite rofl

@EDIT: I like it! You've definitely improved on the shading of both skirts. The Elpizo outfit reminds me of Prairie from MMZX a bit, actually, but you did a GREAT job on that!

Also, I think she has the jacket in the 'flashback' from ZX, so it's kinda canon for her to have it? XD Thank you though! Glad to know I'm getting better!

I'd say you're on the right track, but you have room for improvement. The shading on the skirt needs work, and the hair actually looks pretty good. Just some cleanup around the weird divet where her hair is down (the divet I'm talking about is right next to her hand) to make it look more natural. I think you did a good job with the open vest, too. The "ears" on the hair-down part definitely need work too, they look really strange. They should be slimmer, like on her helmet.

Otherwise, the sprite looks very nice. Keep up the good work!

I assume you mean the long skirt, I shall work on that, thank you very much. Although I'm not sure what you mean by divet? As for the 'ears', they're from her helmet actually, but I'll slim them down. Again, thanks

Yeah, I meant the long skirt. If you don't mind, could I download the sprite sheet to point out the area I meant? I'll send it to you as a PM rather than submit it as a deviation.

I'm a decent spriter myself, so I think I could give you a few pointers if you want me to.
