Total Facebook move with me posting this here.I believe this is somewhere in the confines of POW! Entertainment.
I drew the picture Stan is standing next to as a "Thank You" gift for being the first signing event guest at Comic Oasis after Derrick acquired the shop and many of the customers and friends who were there that day were able to send a little note along to Mr.Lee in the boarder of the picture.
I could really stand to make a new one of these.
A small creator series of a few people I know would be cool.
A Big Thanks to Stan Lee, Gill Champion, Joe Girouard and Derrick for taking the time and sending me this great picture!

Well this was the only one (out of 10 pictures) that was blurry, the other pictures were from different angles and of Stan checking out the picture.

Spearhead the comic industry?... I don't know if I would go that far.
He is one of the most influential comic creators, creating many of the most well known and beloved characters in culture today but there were many that came before him.
If anything when he came about creating and co-creating much of the Marvel characters and comics that are still going strong as ever he probably helped comics through a bit of a slow point with new and fresh ideas.

i see. so i guess you mean he's not the prime mover but that he is one of the great movers of the comic industry. he is one of the most popular though. Tha Man.
