It's beautiful just like all of your work. Every character has there own distinctive feel to them that conveys all of the layers hidden (and sometimes not so hidden) beneath the surface! Great Work as always good sir.

That's meant to be the Comedian's little blood splattered tie clip thing in Rorschachβs hand, right?
I really like how you set this up. The three main figures of the story, Rorschach, Manhattan and the Comedian are all in the foreground but Manhattan is separate from h other two and the rest of the image, separate from the ugly side of humanity yet totally separate from everything else about it as well. John Ostman's skeleton dissolving as he looms over it adds weight to that. Nightowl and Silk Spectre are huddled in a corner behind the rest of the image, like their trying to hide their relationship, guilty and scared of being caught but fully prepared to indulge themselves. Ozamandius is in the background watching the Watchmen with his screens...and then there's the fact the Comedian is the only one looking directly at us. Like he knows every dirty little secret we have.
The only problem I have is that 'Who watches' seems to have been repeated twice and Ozamandius looks a little cross eyed. But it's still the great work we've come to expect from you.

To be honest... this isn't the finished piece, I was gonna put one more "Who Watches the Watchmen" in there, the prelim had them all over the place.

Actually I had just re-read the book when I drew this so I like to think it's a mix of the book, the movie and my own little touches (namely Ozymandias)

this is so bad ass. i love the comedian, he looks so freakin mysterious. and i didn't notice the skeletal manhattan either until i read the comments, but that is a great touch. amazing inking here, the shadows and everything are just PERFECT. i love it

Yes, really. XD I always loved what an asshole he was, and how he wasn't afraid to show people who he really was, even if he was a rapist. He understood the world better than any of them.
