I love the simplicity here. The lower contrast and the darkness makes it seem like you're coming home late one night and see those on the floor. I love.

By cropping in on the image so it bleeds off the edge and you can't see the whole of the shoe...it keeps the eye roaming around the photo longer. Your imagery is very strong, it already has great focus and contrast, so this may make it really pop.

Hehe, yeah, sometimes you only get "great job!" when you really wanted some suggestions. I noticed you had 'advanced critique' selected, so I figured you wouldn't mind the suggestions. I always tell people to feel free to rip my things apart, as long as it's constructive. It doesn't hurt my feelings, I'm just always trying to get better.
