*cries in a corner* I JUST FINISHED TYPING OUT THE WHOLE THING AND IT DISSAPEARED ;O;

*gets over emo phase* grr. Ill just give it to you in simple form, cause i aint writing the whole thing out again *angry*

Kiari sat at the entrance to Rock tunnel, admiring the sky and the trees and the various rock formations, when she heard her friend come up behind her.

"Hey Kiari, can you sleep over tonight?" Aura asked.
"Probably, Ill have to ask my mom"
"Cool, come by around 7 if you can, alright?" Aura bounded off as fast as she came. That girl would make a great messanger. She certainly gets right to the point.

Kiari walked into her house in Lavender Town, and asked her mom if it would be alright to sleep over at Aura's house tonight. Of course, her mother said yes. She was very easy-going.

Later that night, while playing outside with her friend, Aura decided to dare Kiari.

"Hey, Kiari, I dare you to go into the Pokemon Tower."

Pokemon Tower was where all the departed Pokemon's souls resided, a graveyard of sorts.

"No thanks..." Kiari smiled. She really hated going into the graveyard at dark, she heard that there are real ghosts there.

"Aww, Chiiiicken. Chick-Chick-Chick-Chiiiiickeeeeen" Aura teased.

Kiari stoo up tall. She could so do this. "I'm not a chicken! I'll do it!" And with that she stormed off to the Pokemon Tower. Aura followed hesitently.

Kiari stepped inside the Tower. It was eerie and silent. No one was here this time of night, except perhaps the night matience.

She crept slowly up the stairs, making sure nothing heard her, living or dead.

"GAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Something screamed near her.
"AHHHH!" She screamed back, covering her head.
A ball of gas floated towards her. A Gastly, if she recalled from her magazines correctly.

"Gah-Gah-Sssssssslllllleeeeeyyyy" The Gastly seemed to be chuckling to itself and crying out a horrific warning at the same time.

"AHHH!!!" Kiari screamed for the second time, and bolted down the stairs.

Unfortunatly, the Gastly decided to follow her, and when the door opened, found the opertunity to escape from the Pokemon Tower. It circled Kiari's head

"GITITOFFGITITOFFGITITOOOOOFFF" Kiari shreiked. She was going to kill Aura for making her do that.

Finally, Kiari gave in and collapsed in a heap of tears.
"Gooo awaaay" she cried. Gastly backed off, but stayed close enough to see that Kiari was crying.

He floated closer again, down to her eye level.
"meeepp...." Kiari tried to crawl away. Where did Aura go!?!?

Kiari got up and stared Gastly down. Carefully, she backed up in the general direction of Aura's house. She had hoped--in vain-- that Gastly would leave her alone if she backed off slowly.

Needless to say, it followed her back all the way to Aura's house, where she waiting outside with her dad. Good to know neither of them decided to go see if she was alright.

Kiari ran to Aura, and Gastly picked up speed too.

"Can you do SOMETHING about this?!?" She cried to Aura's dad.

"Charmeleon! GO!" He sent out a fire pokemon, then commanded it to use Ember. Gastly floated lower to the ground, and after a hit or two, appeared to give up on battling.

"Pokeball!" A pokeball engulfed the bothersome ghost and flashed red a few times. Kiari guessed it was caught, because Aura's dad went to go pick it up.

"Here." He gave the pokeball to Kiari. Kiari dropped it.
"I-- I dont want it though!" She backed up, afraid it would hurt her.

"Well, you need a pokemon in case you ever run into any others." Aura's dad explained.

"Yeah. And besides, It'd be so cool if you had your own pokemon! We could show all our friends!" Aura piped in.

In the end, Kiari decided to take it. After all, she had heard that pokemon are easier to tame once you catch them.

But, that was not the begining of her adventure, per say.
The real jorney started in LittleRoot town, after moving due to construction in Lavender.
They had put up a radio tower where Kiari used to live.

It was nice here, anyways. Very serene, and close to the lake.

And that, was how Gastly and Kiari met.
