Description It is semi fictional german tank design made by me.  ( I had uplaoded this with my other account [Koreenium] but forgot my password and could't acces my email to recover the account. What a pain in the arse. )

It started out as a regular Tiger II but after a significant amount of modifications it was turned into a early prtotype of E-75. It got rear mounted gearbox and drivetrain, new road wheels, better frontal armor. slightly up armoured Tiger II turret with a better gun mantlet and slightly better gun without muzzle brake.

Hey I really like this idea for an early test / prototype / test of concept Entwicklung 75 that is a converted / 'modernized' Tiger II.

Say I have always been a sucker for the hypothetical tank designs and recently after watching a 'historical' Hearts of Iron IV world war II where Germany defeated the U.S.S.R. in 1946 (a U.S.S.R. that invaded an allied Finland so it was a three way second world war - Democracy vs. Fascism vs. Communism) but then Germany later lost it's European holdings in mid August 1948 to a United allied invasion (that started RIGHT after U.S.S.R. capitulated to Germany) and it had to move down the coast of ~Greece to hold its middle eastern oil fields as a last hold out with what was left of Italy and other crippled Axis forces holding out in East Africa / Middle East / Minor Bulkans. Basically World War II in that simulation ended when Germany Capitulated to the United States in mid August 1948.

So I realize that in that time frame the E. series would have been used in 1945 to mid 1946 to defeat the U.S.S.R. that fielded T-34/85s (and probably a viable T-34/100 late modification) with a mild batch of T-44/85s and or T-44/100s with a smaller interrupted batch of rushed T-54-1 for medium tanks with a fleet of IS-2 mod. 1944s trampled underfoot by some kind of German panzer mass counter from early to late 1945 and in that time the IS-3 and IS-4 would have been rushed into production to counter the German panzers and in late 1945 to early 1946 they would have been pushed back (in this Hearts of Iron IV time line) into the heart of the industrial U.S.S.R. with all sorts of models of up-gunned T-34 and T-44 case-mate tank destroyers being fielded in mid 1945 to mid 1946 up until the defeat of the U.S.S.R.

Then right as the the U.S.S.R. capitulated to the the Third Reich the Allies launched a massive landing on the western coast of Europe from a tiny sliver of Democratic French Brittany (that some how never got fully taken of the map) to the coasts of Belgium and to  coasts of the Netherlands completely catching Germany off-guard and making a huge push inland wiping out Vichy France and taking nearly 1/2 of west Germany by the time the Eastern Front German forces mobilize to the defend Germany. The combined Axis Forces (including a newly recruited Fascist Russian Empire) hold the Allies at Berlin (withe the front line in a slight bulge shape with the 'tip' at Berlin and pointing West Northwest) for a few months until the allies take all of the north central European coast (and in the process restored Poland with a Capital City located in Danzig) in on huge push the combined American British Allies push inland taking a big uniform chunk out of German Third Reich along with Berlin, after a few Axis counter offences with Berlin recaptured, Berlin gets surrounded, cut off and retaken by the Allies for a Final time. By this time Germany is in rough shape and Italy is under siege and losing ground on its home ground fast. France is completely restored and with Allied help overtakes and occupies Nationalist Spain, Switzerland is restored from previous Italian and German invasion and their restored forces take the French / Italian Border all the way south to the Mediterranean sea (Swiss Navy Jokes no more!). Italy is pushed almost off of the face of Europe by American and British forces. German forces are finally bombed into oblivion and the German Border is pushed all the way back Eastward into its Occupied Polish and Czechoslovakian lands with Prague as the last German Axis Capital City on European soil. By this time the Axis forces in Europe are divided with the south losing Italy (the Italian 'boot' is now a shoe!) and a central-eastern Axis forces being further and further pushed into bombed out ruined husk cities of Slavic and non-Germanic occupied lands. In 1948 the European Axis Forces are near surrounded, with oil supply cut from an allied occupation of the most of the Balkans and is subsequently beaten into submission from wave after wave of Allied mass attacks ending in mid August 1948 with Germany Capitulating with hardly a spec of East German soil under their control and using captured Soviet Factories to produce their war munitions after recoiling and dash fighting a surprise titanic Allied invasion from late 1946, defending tooth and nail to no avail in 1947 and losing to much tactically vital ground until gradually the Allies whittled down the Axis forces and they finally reached their critical mass of war famine and their death from a thousand cuts was upon them and thus with no hope in site the German Reich Capitulated to the United States in mid-August of 1948.

I thought that version of a hypothetical World War II was very inspiring for new Axis panzers developments for a hypothetical U.S.S.R. Eastern front of 1945 to mid-1946, then in late-1946 American 155 mm armed T30 Heavy tanks storm a piecemeal defended western German beachhead with vigorous fighting perusing inland as the German Third Reich is pushed further and further eastward by the Democratic Allied forces of the western world battling against the central European power fascist Axis forces all-throughout 1947. In this time I imagine a great tournament of minds as an engineering game of tank design tic-tac-toe is being played by both the Axis and the Allies nations for a victory that would shape the next 100 years of modern history. A battle that is eventually and decisively won by the Democracies of the western world by completely wiping the Fascist Nations off the very face of the European continent and into the Middle East and Africa along with the United States installing a Democracy back into Russia by the time of mid to late 1948. No Cold War!

The TL;TD Version:

Anyway what this 'WALL OF TEXT' comment means is that hypothetical 1945-mid 1948 Axis panzer designs could be less a far-flung fantasy and more of a 'realistic' hypothetical possibility. So let us get designing some panzers eh? Also remember that a large majority tanks are made to counter other tanks at very specific dates and theaters and environments. The Panther for example was made to counter the T-34, the IS-3 and IS-4 were made to counter the Heavier German panzers of 1943, 1944 and 1945 and also the american prototype heavy tanks - T29, T30 and T34 were made to also counter Heavy German panzers of late World War II along with possible Soviet heavy tanks of 1944 and onward.

P.S. I am making a tank game right now that is (in the most simplest of explanations) a mixture of War Thunder and World of Tanks - although right now it is really early in its development stages (I am working on it by myself currently, slow progress due to lack of resources etc. etc. although in spite of these issues I have a solid base and it is moving along quite well.)

Take Care And Have Fun Karl!

Hey.
I love tanks and I love alternative / what if history. One of the most important things about alternative history to me is realistic vehicles and weapons, ofcourse I don't mind realism in general. I do like more supernatural sci fi kinda stuff aswell, like Wolfenstein with its robots and zombie stuff but it is not as important for me. One of the more interesting things for me has been designing periodically correct and realistic WWII era what if german tanks. At the end of the war germans had their E-series but war ended before they could develope it further. So I have been collecting as much real authentic information about the E-50 and E-75 tanks as I could and I plan to make a big project where I design various realistic, authentic looking what if versions of these two vehicles but lack of time, resources and energy have forced me to postpone this project to unknown date. Not to mention I want to make a extremely detailed and accurate 3D model of Tiger II which I could use as the basis for E-50 and E-75 tank designs but I have barely had time to work on it.

Erwin did tell me about you working on a tank game. That is really cool, I have been dreaming about making my own tank game since I was a little kid but I can't program and I am not really a leader type of guy who could put together a team and get it financed... so yeah. I did watch your videos and it looks pretty damn good so far. I would love to see this project develope further and I would love to help. I am currently working on a none 3D related project and still learning some 3D related stuff in hopes of being able to make a living out of it one day.

Regards

Okay sounds cool, Funny you mention the leader type guy point. I have had not the resources to get a proper post secondary education for one reason after the other (mainly poor as hell) but in spite of this I have (pretty much) 'forced' my way into the video game industry with some my efforts materializing with minor assets of mine being put into for example including but not limited to: World of Warcraft, Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition and (more tank related) I have helped build Vollketten's Italian Tech Tree Proposal for World of Tanks back when it was not a complete tech tree and had some serious tier gaps and everyone kind of laughed at it and it was not a serious proposal. The situation was so bad that it was heading towards Wargaming lumping Italy into a Pan-European Tech Tree. Then I did some crazy research (and REALLY went to town with all manner of search engine and translation) into post war Italian military vehicles to find leads and a (moreover) tangible results and I found a few missing links (e.g. Italian versions of early American cold war tanks) that helped get the Italian Tech Tree grounded with no more racist jokes about Italian armour (although some were really funny); the project turned from Vollketten's hobby and 'what if?' into 'hey this should be in the game!'. Then ~a year later Wargaming picked up the tech tree (along with sp15's Swedish Tech Tree) and scrapped the Pan-European Tech Tree (for now) with Italy getting its own tech tree in around ('currently' planned) ~2017 after Sweden. Cool right eh? Anyway so with Baldur's Gate I struggled to get a team together to make a small scale community made expansion pack (I ended up doing the lion share of the work and I had to learn all of the 1998 - 2004 modding tools and (some I had to track the creators down to fix!) but I am pulling through I am at the point where I can make content just the same as most developers if not more since I have basically learned five job positions in one with no help [I 'solo'd' the developer 5-man if you will :-P] (I can even make better Item Icons and Items than the professional developers XD!) Alas though I wait for ~another year for the current Baldur's Gate expansion Siege of Dragonspear to be bug fixed until I even play it -36/100 average community review for the win - and I rotate from project to project (after I work so much that I burn out my subject X.x) I basically restarted on my tank game (B.o.W.) after grinding my way through learning how to make complete areas and full encounters and then script them into a mod installer for Baldur's Gate and then when I did that that I finally got completely burnt out on Baldur's Gate. After that nightmare of learning too many things at once (literally there are only like ~<10 people world wide that have the shared skill set that I learned in 3 months of going nuts with Baldur's Gate and most of them are in their 30's or in their 40's) so I said fuck it how hard could Unity 3D be after using tools made in 1998 XD? Not that hard O.o but a lot of time must be spent learning each and every step of hundreds in order for the game to work (or you cheat and divide up the fields of work, scripting, 3d modeling, design etc. etc. and get a development team and throw money at them and then the world is your oyster *cough* every game studio out there *cough*) Also I have been working on a Classic World of Warcraft (2003-2006) Expansion that I ALMOST got ready a pitch for the team being the KRONOS private vanilla wow private server for a plan for 'my own server' hosted by them and then Activision-Blizzard issued a Cease and Desist against KRONOS's competitor Nostalrious and then I put that expansion project on the back burner (although not without learning how to make a new World of Warcraft dungeon from scratch and no professional background in 3 weeks!). I have plans to turn that project into a big blueprint on a Wordpress account with articles and maybe videos that I could put out there in the public to sink or swim. Either way I get 'free' experience in designing a popular M.M.O.R.P.G. (without being sued) and I can use that experience to build upon my own R.P.G. / M.M.O.R.P.G. projects planned. Or perhaps Blizzard could use some of my concepts to help the current wow and then the W.o.W. modding scene can reverse engineer them into Vanilla wow and Bingo Bango! I win too without spending a dime for the artists and programmers XD.

Anyway TL;DR Summary:

My point is that I have basically been a team leader type of person for a whole bunch of diverse projects both with video games and in real life and I am just the type of person to get into a group (sometimes by sheer persistence if I like it enough XD *Cough World of Warcraft art teams *Cough*), rallies them together, inspires and motivates them and is ready do all the work if need be to get from point A to point B (although I feed off of a community effort and that is when I am at my best). So yeah I actually suck at being the Grand Artist (like yourself) that makes crazy talented assets (minus a few specialized fields like 2.5 Sprites, pencil concept art and a 100% drafting coarse - which is basically a how to make machine blueprints class in high school) Although I really rock at problem solving and making ideas turn into reality with a mixed bag of talents and quick learning - as in I 'morph' to the projects needs, fight and fight and fight and then ram it home (and then get burnt out and work on although project for 3-6 months lol XD). If there is an asset, and their is a way to get it into a game - I can find a way to get them into the game; whether directly or indirectly ~9 times out of 10. I am not deeply great at one thing nor one field but I adapt and do what is required to create something; although I do have my preferred fields and talents although I have had to learn to adapt to the fields that often I don't like (e.g scripting / coding) in order to turn the fields that I do like into a - reality.

I have also been learning stuff on my own, mainly because there is only one school in my country that teaches 3D and game related stuff. If I remember correctly then it is free if you get accepted but in order to apply I have to go there in person and it is basically on the other side of my country even though not too far away (300km). Not to mention that I would be forced to use 3D software I dislike (3ds Max). I have learnt various software and I know some of them very extensively but I have always been limited by time, real life, energy, lazyness, lack of motivation and perfectionism. So much wrong with me xD.
I have worked on several game mods myself. I worked for one Company of Heroes mod team and I was supposed to make 3D models but there were issues with game software, modding support, had HDD failure which caused me to lose so much of my hard work and then had real life issues. So I basically ended up wasting my time and the mod devs time which really sucks because that was my first ever chance to accomplish something serious in game industry. I did make modified vehicle models for World of Tanks but then Wargaming decided to introduce HD models and screwed me and haven't look back since. Did some custom maps for Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Company of Heroes, Faces of War, Men of War, JTF (Joint Task Force) and few more but I never finished any of them and did not release them to public. I did release my War Thunder map but it is basically an alpha version and I can't finish it because I just can't / don't know how to fix problems with it and the support, tutorials are non existant which makes it so much worse.
To me one of the worst things is learning stuff that I don't like. But I am surprised how big of a difference different software can make. For example in order to make models for games I started learning 3ds Max and I ended up hating every single minute of using it. And making things called UV maps made me quit using it for ever after I worked on one project for 2 hours and I was just about to click save button and the software crashed as soon as I hovered cursor over the save button... WTF? But then I started learning Blender and oh boy how big of a difference this makes. Not only it is so much more user friendly but also working with UV maps, which I previously hated so much, is now actually reasonably enjoyable.

All of this makes me feel like a loser as I could of already achieved so much if everything went well from the start but I guess I have to put more effort into what I am making and hope for the best. Burning out really hurts. I wish I was a robot or something like that so I could work on stuff that I like 24/7and actually achieve something great. xD

Ah! Burning out is only human! If we were machines we would feel no achievement and a rush of excitement when we achieve! Alas for every success I have talked of I have spared you near-countless failures, BIG failures, small failures; all kinds of mess up and all manner of screw ups! To fail is human, I have learned that every success requires a near equal amount of failures or 'non-successes' in order to achieve. I get frustrated and some times I get mad as hell when my tools don't work or my work gets destroyed, step back or lost or I know currently too little to get a project from A to B! Hold in there and keep failing, keep messing up and keep pushing and eventually your work will build up around you and it will start radiating an attention all to it's own; like your tanks for example! I suck at a great deal of thing but I plug away at them and I procrastinate like the world frozen over at times but I just keep at it. I have to keep at what I do for if I don't I go nuts and I just can't do anything but this day after day- am damned if I don't - I got crazy and restless, and I am 'damned' if I do for I get so mad and my own inability to get my projects off the ground for what feels like nothing more than a few centimeters at a time! But those 'centimeters' don't fall back to the ground; you do! Climb on your work and keep pulling it up and up and up and before you know it - don't look down! I have fallen off on my work and damn does it hurt to fall off! Problems in real life come and they rain on my parade and I slip and sometimes I fall off although I get back on knowing that no matter how hard the hardships of metaphorical rain comes, lightning or hail, like all problems they don't come to stay my friend, problems come to pass! Guitar is like freelancing for a future it seems, you have to get your fingers blistered to get hardened in order to really rip at it and soon enough if you stick with all of the god awfully noise and racket one day you will feel yourself and your interest 'click' and you the failures will be as platforms and you will stand resolute and with some crazy talents hardened - just like learning guitar, get those fingers blistered! Get your wrist is shape! Harden those finger tips from blister after blister! That rattle and racket will yield to music as long as you stay with it and see it for yourself that within you - you have the talents and the successes it is just a matter of perseverance and pushing your way throw life and into where you want to be. The mountain of success is hard to get to, the real-estate is limited and the view is tremendous! Although everyone can build their own mountain of success skyward and upwards from where they currently stand whether they believe in themselves or not! Although first one has to build up a lot of failures and stick with their vision and eventually with enough failures one can stand on them and lay bricks of golden reward to build upon their mountain a cap of achievement for the world to see and be inspired by! Life is hard and cruel but only through adversity and failure do we as people learn and live to grow stronger and improved through it. The only way to grow as a person is to consume failure and turn them into success. So keep failing, keep failing down, and keep struggling, also struggle and always fight for everyone has dream given to them not to fail on, no one has a dream given to them that has no possibility of reaching it no! We must fight and struggle for our dreams but they can be won. If you can't win at something right away fail more than anyone else and try to be better in your own way, success may be compared but personal fulfillment of dreams cannot be. Remember success is earned through failure and if you feel like a failure keep wanting to be a winner and stop comparing yourself and just focus on getting from point A to point B and if you live to breath keep fighting; your dreams will yield to you - you just have to find what fight is your fight and keep punching and keep kicking; never give in! We are in life as blind souls in an infinite black expanse doomed to feel and fall and struggle our way through the experience that is life. Your Dream, my dream and any one Else's dreams are but open doors in this infinite expanse and our really tragedy is not that we are blind in this world cannot see the open doors to our dreams, no matter how far or impossible they first seem to reach no!, but rather our greatest tragedy is that we are the gatekeepers to our dreams, we and we alone hold the keys to open and lock our dreams forever. The real tragedy day to day is not that people never reach their dreams for they were too far away from them; but rather they close the door to the dreams far before they even search within themselves for the fight to reach their dreams in the first place. Fight for your dreams, and always believe in yourself and your dreams for the moment that you give up and and give into life's adversity ad quit your struggle, your quest for your dreams it is the sole moment in your life when you truly die and most of all when you give up on life! Life gives up on you! The ones who fight in this world for a dream or a meaning have a special kind of weight to them, life moves around them and they move through life and not against it. Although those who give up their own personal struggle in life for their dreams find themselves flowing backwards in the stream of life and curse themselves and their world for resisting their presence and their empty desires. To live a life worthy of your life's dreams one must prove your worth to life and refuse to yield to nothing in the face of your dreams; even death!

Failing wouldn't be so bad if there was also a lot of success. I have 6GB of 3D models + another 12GB of other 3D project related files. I have finished only handful of them. xD So I am trying to put more effort into finishing projects I start which I don't like because my mind is constantly overflowing with ideas and it is frustrating when I can't do everything I want. Oh well, atleast I am working on improving my skills so I could start earning money making 3D models like I have always dreamed.

Ah success is kind of weird, it is really hard to get in the beginning and as you reach a certain (invisible) 'benchmark'(?) resources and progress seem more easily obtained. Success is like a big stone, it is hard to push in the beginning and needs to be rounded to roll, but once it is pushed up to speed it can be hard to stop. I don't really know if that makes a bunch of sense; I like to use analogies to explain certain ideas / concepts:-P. I know the feeling, I have my own set of er, 'stones' and I am rounding them right now chip by chip and they kind of roll right now but they are hard to push and are more a square than a circle and all I want is for them to roll! I see all of these developer teams rounding stones and pushing them into the public's eye to sink or swim (eh float I guess? X-P) and I am like RAHHH!! I want to do that! I pick out these monster sized stones and I am too poor to hire people to help me so I use these ghetto tools and it is slow going! I like picking out the stones and planning and designing and I am not to fond of carving them although some parts I like. You sound to be a great carver and your works are amazing! Although only if we could find a person whom can take designs and models ad make them roll! Programmer I guess, although right now I just pirate coding and scripting or what not - like finding pre-made rollers for my stones (big ambitious un-carved stones) instead of making them! I hope this weird analogy of carving stones and rolling them into the public is not really confusing but I hope that is describes my case fairly well X.x. I design! I cannot stop designing and planning! You seem to be unable to stop 3D modelling! More 3D models! Now we need a person who can't stop programming! More Programing! Lol, well it would be fun to bang something up with a team for a change. Say you like tanks I like tanks, Erwin likes tanks, why don't we have a meeting or something where we all design something cool that we all like, work on on it and if it works pretty okay, then throw it up on Kongregate or Newgrounds and split the ad revenue or something like that where well all win some how? I am working on that tank game and I was going for a single player mission based tank game to throw on the web as a demo and make a better game with a free web demo that links to a website that sells the full version although that is my plan, and it sucks when a team feels like a top down kind of crappy deal. If you want I know Erwin somewhat and we could all talk or communicate together some how and plan some type of game or project that we all could benefit from? Even if this fails there could be something better that comes from it, failure breeds eventual success (well kind of X-P)!
