Description
Let me tell you a bit about why I choose the thistle to surround him in this picture; I thought about it for quite a while.The thistle can grow under very tough conditions, it is not easy to touch and causes pain if you get to close.
This plant has developed its harsh spikes to protect itself from eveyone else.
But it wears these spikes with pride, fully aware of its own nature.
Only if you hold close, you get a glimpse of that loyal and passionated milky heart of the thistle..

Lovely art, the colouring was done beautifully and I really admire when people draw guitars well!
My favourite elements on this, though, have to be the way you decided to pair the drawing with the thistle and the guitar strings. Most times there is a tendency to neglect the fact that presentation is equally important as the drawing, especially in traditional art, and the focus on this shows very well here. The concept about the thistle has a beautiful meaning and the guitar strings above the drawing complete the whole piece. Well done!
