Description
So this is the snowstorm we had on Christmas Eve/Day 2020, in Southeastern Ohio.
Wanted to share some pictures with my friends who might not live in such a snowy place this time of year.
For the record, these were taken at around 9:30 am, about 12 hours after the first 8. I wanted to show the final accumulation, and show things in the light so they could be seen more easily.
This image is taken from the upstairs doorway at the back of our building. Unlike the sidewalks and roads with traffic on them, the snow here is pristine.
This is the final shot, to line up with the final one from the night before. It shows the accumulation on the cars very well (my poor car is the one behind the pole on the left). Oh, and that grey strip of road just past the McDonald's parking lot is actually the *main* road of the town. And yes, even after putting salt down and having traffic all night/morning, it was still enough snow that it is just a grey path through town.
Note: Thankfully the image quality on this second set is a little higher, since I was able to use the higher resolution settings, and it being daytime helped a lot as well.
