This is a drawing/painting I did for a friend. She loves her dog more than anyone else in her life and for her christmas/birthday present I asked her if she would like an artpiece. The dog is Jindo, which is a Korean breed found on Jindo island. They're smart, independent, medium sized, wolf-like and cat like(some have been known to climb trees and fences, no problem). I advise anyone interested in owning a dog like this to do their research. For my friend, Sunshine cannot be replaced. You're looking at one spoiled puppy.This piece was done with pencil, colored pencil, ink and an acrylic wash. The border I gave it is somewhat like the frame I bought for the piece.

Awwww...such quiet dignanty you portrayed here. I love it, Emmerz...for someone who just doesn't "do" dogs in art, you did a damn good job. I'm sure you buddy will love it.
The only slight critique I have is that the head looks a wee bit too big for the body, even for a petite dog. But that just adds to the cuteness of it anyway. Very fun piece!

I did kinda think the same thing about it when I did it, but that's kinda how the picture was. Sunshinehas like really puffy fur. It was maybe some of me, some of the camera and some of the fur.

this is very nice, i like the soft emotion to it, and the dogs lovable happy expression. And the pastel like choice of colors, very awesome
