Description
This image was inspired by the words of Psalm 119:103 which says "How sweet are Your words to my taste!". In the same way food gives and sustains our physical life, the Word of God gives and sustains our spiritual life. Of course, my image might have taken the verse a little too literal!To make this picture, I first went to the local thrift store and purchased and old book for 25 cents! Then I used a power saw and sliced the book into three sections, and then a half cut on the biggest section. Then I placed the book on a plate and had my wife do the modeling. The only other edits were adding the "Holy Bible" text, enhancing some colors, and sharpening. It was a fun project! That's not *literally* what He meant for us to do, though, as eating paper won't feed the mind/soul one bit, and it's likely to give the belly a strong ache... but food for the mind and soul; I'm with you there; just may not be something I can digest at the time and further His job for me, but the standards: I am totally with you on the morals and ethics, Sir.

Interesting use for an old book. Also congrats on the daily deviation! Psalm is definitely one of my favorite books to go through in the Bible simply for how it describes nature.

Great manipulation! Well I'm noΒ scholar, but I've heard traditionallyΒ Rabbis would put honey on the lips of their students while they were memorising the Torah so that the scriptures would be sweet to their taste.
