Description Superman and Wonder Woman just wanted a quiet, nice date, but Luthor and Circe had another plans. Our heroes were teleported to a strange world/dimension. Well, maybe the fight will boost their appetites.
One thing I really like about the Superman/Wonder Woman romance it's they are equals, one can protect the other. Too many writers used the "Someone killed Lois Lane and now Superman gave up or lost his mind (see the "Injustice" game for the latest example). So I wanted to show DC's Power Couple fighting together, one helping the other.

Superman costume is Genesis basic suit, with my textures, S-shield, boots, belt and trunks by RAMWolf.
Wonder Woman costume and props by Terry McG, I just edited the textures.

Well, I didn't read all the issues, but in the Justice League comic Clark started teaching Diana about "humanity" (the "as simple as Smallville" and the "put on glasses/secret ID" angles were very interesting). Since the new WW never had a "Diana Prince" ID and have direct connections with the Gods it's logical to have Clark as the more "human" of the two.

Diana - On the bright side, this is funnier than going to the amusement park.

Clark - You hadn't seen the new merry-go-round, uh?

Circe: "May you, PLEASE, take this seriously?!"
Lex: "It's always this way..."
Bizarro: "Me hates jokes!"
Lex: "Exactly! You're right and...Oh, great...I'll die from the embarrassment..."

Hell yeah!! I hate that trope that if Lois is gone he is useless and forgets his own upbringing and principles. It really undermines the concept of Superman and it's annoying to make Lois define him as a man, hero and his ability to cope. If he loses her fine...he'll grieve etc but never lose himself. Awful story telling.

Is this for the contest kevmann? We are doing one. So you could enter if you wanted to. Just check out the journal and let me know.

Yeah, I submitted it for the contest. Thanks.
I agree with you about the Lois issue. Lois is a good character, but a lot of writers don't know how to use her and she become Superman's real weakness.
Superman was created as the guy who never, ever give up, but in the last years we got a lot of "Lois is dead, so Superman quits" (see Kingdom Come and Grant Morrison's "Rock of Ages" alternate future) or "Lois is dead, so superman lost his marbles ("Armageddon 2001", "Injustice").
I don't believe a writer would be crazy enough to do a "Diana is dead, so Superman give up/gets crazy"...

UNrealDEAN In reply to kevmann [2013-10-28 09:29:43 +0000 UTC]

Kingdom come Superman actually quits because Magog wasn't charged with killing the joker and people wanted Magogs style of heroics other than Supermans style.Β

You're right the "Lois is dead" is only part of the story in KC.

Excellent. Could you just add a little note at the bottom? Thanks and yes, I am sick of the Superman goes nuts or is useless trope if Lois dies or is not around etc. Don't forget Bruce Timm's Brave New Metropolis. Or turning time in the movie.

I want to see a writer do Steve is dead so Diana can't be a hero and loses her marbles. They wouldn't dare. But Superman must be made to look as useless and weak for one person? So Superman can only be a hero if he has Lois is what they saying and must be happy else he can't cope. How a character responds in his darkest hour is what speaks the best of him. Superman is a failure when you look at it but interestingly it's Batman that stays true and you can't corrupt him.

It's funny that Supergirl and Martian Manhunter lose it all but they don't go nuts.Β

Β That is such bad writing of Superman by these writers.

Superman lost Krypton, and later (on most versions) his foster parents, but he never let tragedy stop him. Some guys just forget this, Kal had a lot of tragedies in his past (just imagine you are the world's most powerful guy and you cannot save your own parents...)
And Lois, who was created to be a strong heroine, is used as a plot device to make Superman weak...
