Description My favourite ever cartoon strip has to be Calvin and Hobbes... Miss the work of Bill Watterson so much!
This was the simple concept of Calvin grown up... how would his vision of Hobbes change?

The twist is that it's actually a real tiger.

He's only imagining the voice.

Heh. That's a nice counter to that ol' Medication Strip. Even as an adult, Calvin is still Calvin.

Yeah, you may need to work on that adjusted individual thing.

Once again Hobbes contradicts Calvin with his profound feline insight.

In my country the comic strip is still goin, although i noticed the art has become, simple, extremely weird

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ahmuicl In reply to Glameyes [2011-06-05 03:08:52 +0000 UTC]

It must be syndicated reruns. Bill Watterson retired Calvin & Hobbes in '95 =[

The more simple art are probably the older strips. Calvin's head actually looks different if you compare strips from the earlier years and the end of its run.

I either made this up myself or I heard it somewhere:
The only difference between the highly imaginative and the insane is that the insane can't leave.
Or something like that.

I think this is an interesting concept of Calvin actually being crazy, but in a good way. Also scince you mentioned calvin growing up, I heard people have a theory about calvin growing up to be this character called "Frazz", who is in another comic. The resemblance is uncanny.
