Description
One of the four main images run in the V2 CampaignPhotographed at Greystone Manor - Beverly Hills, Ca in 2003
Shot with a Mamiya RZ67 on Tri-X 220 film
2000W strobe through a 3x4 litedome mounted on a boom to bring the ambiant daylight to -2 stops under the key light.
The image was then printed traditionally on a 16x20 before the oilgraph process was used. More info on that can be found here: [link]
The final print was then reshot, scanned, desaturated and then the tone added.

I do alot of professional work here in England, mainly portraits, weddings and the like...i know quite a few talented photographers, but your work is by far the most incredible take on portraiture ive ever seen. ITs mindblowing, scary, dark, inspirational, happy and just downright gorgeous all at the same time.
