Description
A character sheet for an upcoming Star Trek parody webcomic by *comicalclare and myself. It's gonna be an episodic miniseries that we'll be running in her gallery throughout the month of June. She's doing the story, I'm doing the art, and we're both doing the jokes.
Wanted to do a comic parody of the "new" Trek crew. You keen-eyed Actually Squad-types will notice I've given the girls the traditional long-sleeved uniforms as opposed to the short sleeves in the movie. Honestly, I wasn't digging on the short sleeves so I exercised some creative license. Hoo ha!
Anywho, I'll do an announcement when the comic is starting for those of you who'd like to read it. It promises to be veritable galaxy of chuckles.

I'd hate to be Uhura. The original token girl, oh man. Now that I think of it, considering she not only is the black one, but also has a red shirt, I get the feeling she isn't going to love long while Sue's around. Poor Uhura.

Lady Snake: Y'know, as much as I try to save regular folk and keep the world safe, I think I'll throw the book out the window on this one and ice the harlot myself. *cracks knuckles* She comes ANYWHERE near my friends then I'll have no choice but to well, "act in defense."

This is very nice. I like the adorable character designs.
Just one tiny little geek point point however. Ensigns don't wear stripes. (Look at Chekov's uniform.) By her insignia, this is Lieutenant Sue.

A Sue need not obey the Starfleet uniform procedure. That's also why she gets to wear the VERY non-regulation fishnets.

Actually, I've taken the time to read through your strips, and have found them to be very entertaining. It's like a fugitive from Ranma 1/2 was let loose aboard the Enterprise. Very witty and fun.
An idea occurred to me, which I've already sent in note form to your talented collaborator.
With much fanfare, Sue is promoted to chief of security, and given a RED SHIRT.
She is then sent along with a Landing Party ("On classic 'Trek it's a landing party. "Away Team" is Next Gen speak. 
Oh, you could have another one where a transporter accident splits Sue in to a good Sue and and evil Sue.
Okay I'll stop now. It's pretty obvious you've got a handle on coming up with your own ideas.

They looked blue to me when I was doing my reference hunting. Turns out they're hazel green. Oh well. I thought Urban channeled Deforest Kelley almost perfectly anyway, so I figured they were interchangeable.
