You know, I have a keyboard I like to practice on (though it's not at my house right now) and I was learning "Let it Be" by the Beatles. <3

I know the chords, but I don't know the notes. I just play it my weird way by playing all the chords all the way up the piano, every chord an octave higher than the last, playing every note alone in every chord.
But I would love to hear you play Let it Be

It's quite fascinating really, but it's difficult! Having to play the chords while constantly moving your hands up is difficult. When left hand has played, it moves two octaves up, right hand plays, two octaves up - until we've walked up the whole piano.
Going down again is even more difficult. Never the less, it is fun and a good way to practice finger placement
Well, practicing on the piano is lovely - especially once you're able to play a beautiful song. It feels so wonderful

Aye, it is good practice for finger placement. When I took lessons from this women, she made me do that sometimes, but I always made a jumble of it (I was a little girl, not Beethoven!
