Hey dont get me wrong, you can be ugly if you tried hard enough... but then you take a random pic such as this one (hey check out my new hat!) And suddenly something shines brightly through... be it, beauty of the soul, reflexive photography talent, perhaps even divine intervention... Do you not see it here? Your eyes and shadow representing both dark intent in one and dangerous angelic gaze in the other! Both framed in purifying flame threatening to consume it all!
