My slogan above was added by mistake twice...the first one is correct.

I love it! I have a pet frog and maybe I will get a gecko too!
I hope. And geckos learned it LONG ago in the time of the dinosaurs to escape from the predators.

MY little Bahali must be the oddball of Geckos. He will sit for like, a minute or so and stare at the spot before he jumps. Love this pic! Its so awesome!

my little jack is actually really god about looking before he leaps. im very suprised that a gecko so young could have so much wisdom lol
my leos on the other hand just keep on walking even when they get to the edge of the bed, they dont bother looking at where they go

I've just got an male Leopard gecko, Ace, and he's pretty laid back - apart from when he's sick of being held, then hel take a running jump out of my hand!

My gecko Sammy is always leaping, like she swears she's got wings or something!
Love the expression.

Rhacodactylus Ciliatus are now my most favorite reptile, and I hope to have a breeding colony someday. I currently have a female and an unsexed, the reptile show in my area is coming up and I'm planning on picking up a brindle. The drawing here is of my female, Lebkuchen, a standard harlequin. :>

I had moved her tank to a different location and apparently it wasn't the right location... I tried to move it back, but it didn't matter what I tried to do. She started to dry up, her skin would peel every day and she became dehydrated. I had to peel the skin away from her vent so she could eliminate. This went on for about a week, I tried misting her cage 3 or 4 times a day and feeling her the wet eyelash gecko food. Soon she lost her appetite. I was so poor, I really couldn't afford to take her to the vet at the time, but then I felt so bad... The day I decided- whatever, I don't care if it costs a lot of money, I'm going- she died :/
From that point on, I didn't ever want another pet without being able to afford to take them to the vet. Of course, that was when I was 18, I'm 23 now. Still petless. I think I may just wait until I know I'll be somewhere for the next 10-15 years. I just moved from the States to Norway. I have a feeling I may only be staying in Norway for only a shortish time (5-7 years max) and I know any critter I'd want to get would live 15-20 years. Especially given I may end up, say, Australia, and I have a feeling reptiles are a no-go as far as customs are concerned And I certainly wouldn't want a dog or cat to be locked up for 6 months. XP

Hahahah!
I love it!!!
I have a leopard gecko that I named Bumblebee (seriously, not because of Transformers... though it was around that time). But his tail is black and yellow striped... and it looks like a stinger.
And he FLIES out of my hand!! Like he thinks he's a bee or something!!!

As Fry said in an episode of Futurama... "Girls like swarms of lizards, right?"
Yes. Yes, we do.
That gecko reminds me of the iguana I used to have (before he outgrew the house). He got good at climbing up onto the heat lamp as soon as you turned your back.
