Pippi Longstocking (Pippi Langstrumpf in Germany)I had to draw her because I loved her when I was a child (and still do :-D) and I wanted to be like her...
It's done with graphite pencils on Strathmore 300 series smooth Bristol paper and took me about 10 hours.

Pippi is really famous in Germany, as all Astrid Lindgren stuff. Every child knows the books and the movies. Besides Pippi I liked Ronja the most

No, Astrid Lindgren, the author of the Pippi stories is from Sweden. The original name is: Pippi Långstrump
