I'm not one to judge a piccie cos I have no photography talent whatsoever
BUT...
I do love the overall pink tint. The misty water is my favourite part, you don't know if its water or low lying fog. Makes you want to stand on it just to see which it is 
One thing's for sure, this is definitely NOT one for the scraps

Thanks for comments, as for the 'distraction' lol it was intentional as I like my photo's to show something which represents a snapshot of Cornwall's landscape probably not necessary the correct way to make a good photo but keeps me happy lol

I hate when people impose what they think is good onto other people's work, I try not to say that but it usually comes out sounding like that..

its always good to see other people views on photos to me it helps or gives me ideas to try again next time I go out, so you carry on and say what you if you like it cool or if you think something is crap by all means say after all its a learning curve and if it wasn't then I probably wouldn't be here sitting down watching the tele and wondering what the hell I'm doing with photoshop lol. My trouble is I tend to go to area which are so over done everyones been there taken the shot so i try for something a bit different hence these 2 so I take a gamle and go for it lol

this one definitily is not bad at all. composition is very good. the only thing that could come handy are those ND gradients.

yeh i'm looking forward to having a play with them, dunno how they work or what you do but hey, cant be that hard lol. I'v started to use my tripod a bit more now, personally they got on my nerves and get in the way but practically a very usefull bit of kit

I was playing about with my tripod in the middle of the foyer in college and ppl kept staring thinking i was taking pictures of them when i wasn't even near it

ha! I'm usually doing stuff like that too, taking pictures of coffee is a favourite of mine. My friends however turn their camera's on me, one of my friends got a 55-200mm lens for her birthday and sat taking pictures of my eyes and I was hardly aware of it. And last week in the studio I got made to be the model ... unfortunately no one is sending me my own pictures, some aren't too bad

I actually think this is a really good shot. I love the mist itself and the effect it has on the lights in the back round. I really like it!
