I was going to draw a catgirl for
but ummm i failed at ears, so now its a drosophila~~ hahaha XDI LOVE DROSOPHILAS THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is like an anthropomorphic version of a drosophila
I used the same colors (red eyes, black belly)~OMG i should be working~~ but instead i cged
I started this at around 6:30pm, and worked until 3am. then from 9:30am to 11am XD so around 10 hours 
Drawn with pencil, scanned then colored in photoshop and SAI <3 [link]

I like drosophila too, specially drosophilla melanogaster, they're a great model for genes and herency studies, their genome is simple compared to other species!

You really do learn something new every day, I learned that Drosophila means fruit fly, sorta. How cool, I love how you did the wings and it goes really well with the background it has a very soft feel to it, yet the girls clothes give it a nice edge. <3 The hair is also really pretty, I love that color, and her chocker is amazing.

We mated fruit flies in bio lab a couple years ago, and made them go to sleep and counted them and they were so cute and twitchy 
I had fun drawing her choker there, so later I made it into a real necklace though it's not exactly the same ( [link] ) I discovered through that, that making jewelry is really fun

thats really cool, I've never heard of anyone doing anything like that before. I usually stick to more common stuff like the Zodiac, etc. Right now I'm working on a Chocolate series.
