This is another design by [link]He's only 11 years old but has high fighting spirits. Sergio has been a fan favorite to all who have purchased a copy of the book. If you haven't seen the youtube trailer it's here [link]
Also there will be a 2nd book trailer coming soon, with music from a good youtube friend I spoke about in my journal [link]
So you guys will see a rock version in the next book trailer

After reading the manga, I can totally see why he's a favorite!!
Was his hair originally supposed to be purple, or was that the artist's idea??

Actually that's a good question his hair was suppose to be blue. But the original artist brolo sent me a pic with his hair being purple and then we just went with that. It paid off in the long run. Ever since he was posted on Brolo's Da page he has been a fan favorite I was shocked really. But if you visit the old designs of Sergio teen version you will see comments about how they love Sergio. Most of the comments are in Spanish or Portuguese but use a language converter and you will see a lot of positive comments and reviews.

interesting. I guess purple does fit the gold clothing better, in the end. Was there any purpose for the blue hair?? (I know hair represents personality to some degree)

Sorry for the late reply.lol Yes blue haired characters are mostly calm, however they can be outgoing as well. Sergio fits many of those factors also I wanted him to be unique and cool so it all worked out

He reminds me of someone from "Fairy Tail". Not anyone specific but the art style is reminiscent of the manga.

I have not seen fairy tale yet. But I heard it was awesome. I actually have a rpg manga comic that I'm working on as well.
