Here is another Batman sketch I decided to finish up. Done with ball point pen, background done in Daz3D, and color/fx in Micrografx (cheapo' photoshop).Related content

Again Robin does look a little bulky, bit if you ask me, it's about damn time they started making him look more like that. I mean, Tim Drake is supposed to be about 19 (from what I've gathered) in comics now, yet I've seen plenty of artists draw him looking YOUNGER and not older.
So, in other words, nice one.
And Batman and the city scape are very reminiscent of the later seasons of Batman: The Animated Series.

Thanks again! I've always been a fan of the Drake Robin suit, but I did want to make him a bit more grown up. The background was done as an experiment for using 3D backgrounds with my hand drawn characters (not a big fan of drawing backgrounds!) But like you mentioned I wanted to get the look of the animated series which still to date is my favorite version of Batman.
