Given my fatal attraction towards beautiful girls in beautiful dresses, no gallery of mine could be called complete without at least one drawing of Kanaya, who in my headcanon is supposed to look like some sort of Middle Eastern princess (hence the nose; the fact she's an atypically diurnal troll should also imply her complexion is darker than that of the other characters).Now, let's be honest: those of you who have talked to me from time to time know all too well that I'm the kind of self-deprecating artist who can't ever call himself satisfied with his own works, let alone proud of them.
This is, however, one of those extremely rare cases in which I love the outcome. This piece is everything I was hoping for, and then some: the pose, the overall softness, how delicate she looks, it all fits.
Plus the weapon kicks all kinds of ass.
And since I suck at naming things, this is an open poll: what should we name this vaguely Final Fantasy VIII-esque thing? My personal vote goes to Marie BaΓ―onnette, for various reasons.

The whole folding pattern in the dress I left really vague on purpose, as this was one drawing that was indeed made with colouring in mind (and I'm thinking of a pure white dress on a background of grass, so yeah, better keep those lines simple).
