f/5 = aperture, i was trying to control depth of field, ie, how much of the image is in focus

i probubly should have used f/8 or f/11

that particular lens has very little in the way of depth of field

I tell Devart to keep it at about 1280 wide, because I figure most people these days have an LCD that can handle a picture 1280 wide easily... ;;

Also i find it very hard to critique an image when other people have it set to 640 or 800 @.@ that makes it really tiny on my computer

how can I judge the whole picture instead of seeing this massive field of shapes and colors?

I wish deviantart would allow you to say up to a MAXIMUM of 1280 wide or something, then have the person viewing be able to select their own maximum for any deviation...That way -everyone- is happy
