First of all I want to say that I so love the expression of the model on this photo especially those lovely set of eyes and those pinkish lips.
For the critique:
The focus on the model, the depth of the background, the lights, the expression, the being so natural of the model are very well done in this capture. However, there is a problem on the way that you capture this image of her, I think that you're quite at the wrong angle upon capturing this. I'm not much a photographer but I'm aspiring to be one, and one thing that I learned and heard about the principles of photography is to capture the most of the good side of a person, things, events, etc in your camera and hide what are dull and the not so good. On this photo you manage to capture all of her good side but you also capture quite a few from the bad side, one reason of that is probably because the capture is too close that the flaws of her face become obvious. It could have been better if you had placed some distance from her upon capturing this or you could have made her try a different pose or capture the photo at a different angle in order to minimize the chances that the bad side of her will be evident.
But aside from that, I think that this is good catch.

You're definitely right about that, when it comes to capturing the best of a person - but the issue is that it's very subjective. What I'll need to work on is more 'flattering' angles for the models I photograph, and creating more space between myself and the model will be the ticket to it. This image was shot with a 100mm focal length, which I don't usually use in a studio setting [usually because my studio setting is someone's bedroom, haha], but the lens did get a very sharp capture, which helped to make it striking. I'll watch out for distance again in the future, and be mindful of getting too close to the model.
Thank you for the critique!

I am a fan of your work and a painter of digital art, and often use photos as reference for my paintings, in order to make them realistic. Just thought I'd ask permission to use this photo (the facial structure only) as a reference? I will give you full credit as my reference.

I think this is a great portrait. I love all of the brown tones; usually brown would be a fairly boring colour, but in this photo it really brings out her eyes.

She looks very 1960's young housewife-y. I'm interested to see what you did for the shoot in it's whole.
