I have been having fun playing with V4 since I've got her from DAZ3D. ^^
There is no postwork in the render, except for my sig and the framing.
I rendered using Poser 7's gaussian post-filter, and maybe that's what you saw here.

Ahhhh! That's it. The Gaussian filter gives a kind of painting like effect.

The Gaussian filter kind of softens the edges, but I think the painting-like effect comes mostly from the lighting I used for this scene. ^^

Very nice. The only complaint I have is that her right leg crosses at a very steep angle. Looks painful.

It's hard to compare real-time lowpoly game models with the high-res ones I use in my gallery, but I haven't played Sims2, so I really don't know. ^^

It took me a year of trial and error until I started to get more proficient with the 3D tools I use now. ^_^
The hard part was to find out what tools would work with me, and many didn't, so I lost lots to time with that.
I am pretty happey with the tools I chose (3DSMAX, Poser and PaintShop).
I feel like I can do anything with those 3 tools by now.
