Description
My first pencil coloured pic in a very long time! 8DLoki, enjoying a cup of tea on the deck of the Moby Dick while the sun slowly rises into the morning sky. I like tea.
So does Loki. Even if it does kind of go everywhere when the ship hits a bigger-than-usual wave.

Well, there is a trick to it, tbh - lots and lots of different pencils. xDD I have about 70 different colours and it's just a matter of layering them on top of each other so that the colours all come through harmoniously. Practice and experimentation are the name of the game

NP, did you color the shading first or the base?

I generally do the shading first because I have really soft waxy pencils, and if I did the base first the darker colour wouldn't get picked up by the paper well.
