Another request, haha. Older Nod and MK, probably three years after the movie. All the details are in the tumblr post so I'm gonna just copy paste it all here:

3 years later, or something like that. They both get new haircuts. Pretty sure the only reason Nod cut his hair was because he was pulling some next level Jared Padalecki on everyone, and Ronin threatened to shave it all off if he didn’t do something about it.
I have a very fierce headcanon that MK would eventually go back to the Jinn world after she’s sure it’s exactly what she wants and that her relationship with Nod is strong enough, and after learning about Jinn culture and costumes. (i say it took 3 years but bleh)
There's a bonus, but I can't post it on DA ahaha.

Well, Jinn don't seem to live in the same time frame as us. Tara's supposed to choose an heir every time the Summer Solstice and full moon coincide, and in the movie, they keep saying it happens every 100 years when in reality it happens every 30 years.
I mean, it's probably just the writers messing up their research, but I'm gonna keep pretending it was world building.

Don't denigrate yourself like that. Everyone starts from somewhere. My art from a few years back was far from being excellent, and it still isn't if you compare it to other people's. But that doesn't mean I didn't improve and am not going to improve.
But really, absolutely anyone can become a great artist, if they set their minds to it. Some people make incredible leaps, some people take more time. Everyone's different. Just don't think you'll never do better than someone. You'll do different, but that doesn't mean it won't be great. Looking at other artists' work gives me a better idea of what I want to improve in my art, and what I don't yet, more because it'd take me an amount of work that's still a bit too colossal for me than because I think I can't. You can do anything, it's just all about what you're willing to do, now and later.
Sorry for the overly passionate rant. I know you said that as a compliment, but it actually makes me feel bad when people say that even with they're best effort they'll never achieve my current level, especially since I'm not happy with my current level and want to improve. Artists you look up to should make you want to move forward, not set up barriers to your advancement.
