I BOUGHT HAMA BEADS!!!
Why??? Because I wanted to
and I had some Christmas money left over and wanted to get something that'd be fun to do 
So while I was very ill and unable to work on commissions/trades (as I would have infected you all!!
) I decided to make things out of hama beads - or perler beads as the Americans know them as 
There's a few more to come - but this is Raichu and I love it to bits and will put it on my wall

I was never a fan of Raichu, but it seems everyone loves him so much. 
I've never worked with these kinds of beads before, but I've seen some shapes my cousins did a long time ago. Seems fun to play with. @w@

I didn't think anyone was until I came to deviantart - I thought everyone loved Pikachu! You can't not love Rai! 
They are fun to play with - I loved playing with them as a kid and now I just think that sprite pixel art looks amazing done with them!

That sounds nice. I'll keep you in mind and will wait some time first because I already wait for some art commissions at the moment. Maybe you can also do bigger sprites like 10" in size^^?

I have four boards currently... which can do sprites that are a max of 58x58 pixels in size which is... *gets ruler* a max of 11"x11"

I really want to get hold of some perler beads as they do lighter colours than hama in the UK... but to ship any over here would be £20 from suppliers in America - no one sells them here ;_;
